Day 2 of the beginning. I love this blog thing…it makes me accountable on a different level than I have been before. Last post I wrote on the beginning of my running quest, and my not so running body…and guess what? I got feedback! That pumped me up…It is nice to have a support group…Hi my name is Jamie, and I am a new runner.
Today was slow…my body is sore, but I got out there.

Up to the mountain and back again…it’s my route. It’s a decent one because I’m not intimidated by the zillions of others that seem to be everywhere you look in Provo…it’s just me and the road. Christian came too, we took it easy today. It’s going to be hard work, but I’m excited to see how my body will change and take this on in the upcoming couple of months

It has begun…the first day of training for the half marathon I want to run in August. I am not a runner…repeat, I am not a runner. I come from a family of athletic superstars, and somehow I missed that boat. But I thought to myself, what the heck…bring it on, I’ll show you non-athletic, non-running body, we can do this.

Yeah, ran to the moutain and back, made it the whole way without stopping, woo-hoo! Running back took it slower. Went to play frisbee with some friends, and then ran back from that. Running running running all over the place!
